Archive old jobs without deleting history

There is no 1,700-entry limit.

Steps

  1. For a period archive, enter each completed job’s Completion date, then choose Completion year and Completion period in Records & archives → Review jobs to archive. Only completed jobs in the preview are archived. Legacy jobs with no completion date are excluded.
  2. Open Records & archives to archive completed work, or edit a job status to Archived.
  3. Archived jobs remain searchable through Jobs → Archived and stay in exports and backups.
  4. Archive hides jobs from active views; it does not shrink storage or remove invoices and costs.
  5. Search employee/date to narrow the time register, which displays up to 200 matching entries. Export includes the complete history.
  6. Use the Backup button regularly and retain a copy away from this computer. Use Office & devices to share records; never open the same SQLite database from multiple computers.

Check that it worked

Verify the saved entries and related cost totals.

Still stuck?

Save a backup and export a diagnostic report if records do not match.
