I invited a nearby laptop — what does its user do next?

An invitation highlights the office on that laptop. It does not silently download business records.

Steps

  1. On the host, select Invite this computer beside the correct nearby laptop.
  2. On the laptop, open Office & devices. Your office should say Invitation for this laptop.
  3. Select Request to join on the laptop. Read its six digits to the office user.
  4. On the host, approve that request with the six digits and an access role.
  5. If the invitation expired, refresh and invite again. If the laptop is itself a host, stop its accidental hosting first.

Check that it worked

The host lists the approved computer, and the laptop sees the shared company.
