Steps
- On the PRIMARY office computer, open ClearDesk IQ → Office & devices. Workspace must say Office host.
- Select Check connection. If it says sharing is not listening, select Retry office sharing. Keep the default port unless it reports that the port is already in use.
- If the port is in use, close another copy of ClearDesk IQ on that computer. Reopen the installed shortcut and retry. Do not stop an unfamiliar Windows service.
- If the host check passes, leave the office computer awake. On the second computer, use Nearby offices to request a connection, or use Check connection if it is already paired.
- If only the second computer fails, use Set up office network on both computers. This requests narrow Windows firewall rules. A fully open firewall is not required.
- If it still fails, follow Office not showing? for guest Wi-Fi, changed addresses, or network separation. Recheck the exact error after each step.
Check that it worked
The host answers its local check, and the second computer connects to that same office. These are two separate checks.

Still stuck?
Record the version and exact check result on EACH computer, whether it is Host or Connected device, and whether they use normal office Wi-Fi or guest Wi-Fi. Do not send a pairing code or database with a support question.
