Steps
- Enter opening cash and the expected receipts and outgoing payments for each week.
- Include obligations such as payroll, materials and other commitments in your own plan.
- Use Save cash plan to calculate the baseline and stressed cash balances.
- The shortfall percentage reduces forecast receipts only. It does not change the expense assumptions.
- Updating an invoice or job does not rewrite the plan. Review your forecast regularly as expectations change.

Opening $5,000, week-one receipts $1,000 and payroll $500 gives baseline $5,500; with 20% receipts shortfall, stressed cash is $5,300.
